My Vision for Luton and Great Britain working with the Workers Party of Great Britain

“Only the Workers Party will stand up for British working class and save the future of our union”

Palestine Support: Impact on Global Relations

  • I make no apologies for our support for Palestine and the people of Gaza during the brutal onslaught carried out by Israel, and this will continue.

Education, Crime, and Well-being in Luton: A Comprehensive Plan

  • I will work hard to ensure all schools in Luton are at least Ofsted graded “Good”; as a result, every child receives a quality education in a “good school”.
  • With a university on our doorstep, anyone wanting to access their first can do so without worrying about tuition fees.
  • We often hear a lot about the number of meals donated by charities and our local food bank. I want every family to have easy access to cheap and nutritious food.
Post Covid, we have seen a rise in mental health issues. I want to raise awareness of mental health as well as ensuring a strong support package is available for those affected.
A free and comprehensive healthcare system with no waiting lists means that anyone needing access to healthcare services will have this when required.
I will fight for every household to have universal access to a cheap or free fully integrated public transport system and all essential amenities: water, sanitation, heating, electricity, post, telephone, and internet.
Fully support families in looking after their elderly, with nursing homes and sheltered accommodation for those in need so all workers can live full, dignified, and meaningful lives.
Ensure access to decent, cheap and secure housing for all, particularly young people.
I want to work on turning our existing estates into havens instead of abandoned/overcrowded territories prey to exploitation and protecting vulnerable young people. Families to feel safe!
  • I want to develop a comprehensive education and support plan to reduce issues such as knife crime, drugs-related and gang culture.
By providing access to education for the needs of all types of learners, be it academic or vocational, reducing poverty, and supporting mental health, we will see a crime reduction.
Uphold the right to peaceful protest, free speech, and resistance to authorities‘ attempts to ‘chill’ legitimate opposition through surveillance, fear, and misuse of the law.

A better Luton

  • With organisations such as Vauxhall and Luton Airport, I want local jobs for local people by ensuring our young people and those not in employment have access to relevant academic, vocational, and skills-based education to access these jobs.
  • I want to bring investment into the town by making greater use of our resources, such as the Capability Green Park by establishing a Technology Park.
  • Support the review of the tax system to stop the penalisation of single-earner households, which drives parents into two low-wage jobs to keep the labour force cheap for business.
  • All military personnel employed by the UK government will receive the same pay, pension, and benefits for their rank regardless of their country of origin, regiment, or service.
  • We will undertake investment in border security, including heightened sea-going and coastal patrols,
  • A fair and equitable visa and citizenship arrangements that discourage organised crime.
